Today is Entrepreneurs’ day; third Tuesday of November. If you have been following this blog, then you probably noticed that I’m a huge supporter of The Honest Company since the beginning. I truly believe in them. Their values are basically my values. It is a company with a lot of potential and it is amazing to follow their story and to be a part of the Honest family. Their innovative delightful products, their social goodness,… I’m a huge huge fan!

Jessica Alba, Christopher Gavigan, Brian Lee and Sean Kane are the ones who made The Honest Company a reality. Of course they work with an extraordinary team who day in and day out devote themselves to create a healthier lifestyle.

So incredibly inspiring!

“Find your passion and do it totally. The more life experience you get the better you’ll be at whatever you want to do.”

~ Jessica Alba ~

“Take time to find your passion.
Really know what it is you are good at… and go for it.
Both feet, just jump in! And never give up!”

~ Christopher Gavigan ~

To ‘celebrate’ Entrepreneurs’ day, here is their advice to aspiring entrepreneurs and what they enjoy most about building and running a company. (Credit: interview with Brendan Brazier of Thrive magazine (link)).

Christopher Gavigan:
“Aspiring entrepreneurs should channel their passion into an authentic business that they can sustain through the long haul. Building and running an entrepreneurial company is a dynamic daily learning experience. It can be incredibly inspiring and even more challenging. Having clarity about your value system is especially important to see a business through the changes that come. Watching the people you work with channel the energy that you bring to something you believe in and grow it into something even bigger is such a rewarding process.”

Jessica Alba:
“I’d suggest that aspiring entrepreneurs develop a thick skin! The belief in your vision has to hold up to all kinds of scrutiny, especially when you’re starting out. It can be hard not to take things personally when you’re passionately invested. When you’re building and running a company, seeing your ideas come to life every day is incredible, but you also have to be prepared to pivot and come up with new ideas. Managing those inevitabilities and being flexible makes thoughtful and productive decision-making easier.”

Thank you to Jessica, Christopher and all entrepreneurs. What you do is truly appreciated and inspiring!!
