Believe in your dreams. They were given to you for a reason.

~ Katrina Mayer ~

Dream it. Believe it. Achieve it. That’s how it works; believing in yourself and in your dreams is what takes you higher, to the next level. If there is one lesson that I’ve learned throughout the years, it’s the following:

If you want to live the life you dream of or if you want to make your dreams come true, you will have to leave your comfort zone and work hard for it. Leap! Take risks! It is not easy to put yourself out there, to chase and catch your dreams, to take risks, but in the end… I promise you, it will all be worth it.

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

Starting this project was actually just something that felt natural. I’m a dreamer (day and night), a thinker. In the past I did not act on it, but in recent years I have started to do so. It’s a creative process, that goes with lots of thinking, doubts, frustration, even risks, but also quite  a lot of excitement. And this is basically what this project stands for… if you have an idea or a dream, go for it. Life is too short, to postpone it. There are so many people out there, who inspire me on a daily basis and who taught me so many different things. Besides my family and close friends, I’ve learned a lot the past few years from Christopher Gavigan. You might not know him, especially if you live in Europe, but he is the co-founder of The Honest Company, author, entrepreneur, environmental scientist,… He is a super hard worker and he makes things happen. Everyone who works at The Honest Company is making an idea ‘reality’ every single day with so much passion. They dream big everyday and that is what we all should do! Dream big, leap and go for it!

With this charity I want to thank the people who inspire me to do what I love and at the same time support a good cause. When it comes to cancer research I’m always eager to help make a difference, which is why I decided to support Pediatric Cancer Research at Children’s Hospital LA. As we all know, children are the biggest dreamers. To do this, I created a wooden keyring that represents dreaming big and taking that leap to get where we want to be. I’m selling these wooden keyrings with a minimum price of $20 (all costs included). Which means you can, if you want to, contribute more. The wooden keyrings are 3mm thick, 38mm in diameter, engraved on both sides and not heavy at all. They are cut from dowels and therefore are a hand tooled item, so every keyring is unique and might have some differences from the ones you see on the pictures below. For these keyrings I collaborated with a company in the UK ‘Woodcard’. They only work with FSC certified products, which means that these products have their forest of origin independently inspected and evaluated according to environmental, social and economic criteria agreed by the Forest Stewardship Council AC. So all props go to them for the excellent service and the wonderful products.

Profit from this charity will be donated to the triathlon that Christopher and The Honest Company will participate in to support Pediatric Cancer Research at Children’s Hospital LA. I hope you will all join me in this ‘Dream Big Everyday’ journey and give everyone the push they need to dream big everyday. If you are interested in one or more keyrings, simple fill in the form below and I will get back to you!

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
